Dasten Eyewear

We, India Pyzel and Austen Gersonde wanted a sunglasses company that we could both wear.  We had a tendency to pick up whatever is on the counter and throw them on as we are running out the door.  Some days they were Indies' glasses and other days they were Austens'.  We always found it funny that in this day and age sunglass companies still had pages for "men and women's" sunglasses when more often than not we saw our friends interchanging their sunglasses depending on their mood. 

So finally in 2022 the day came that we said fuck it and decided to start Dasten, a unisex brand that incorporates the style of streetwear, the durability of outerwear, eye-protection, and a focus on eco-friendly solutions made to get you outside and keep you outside.

Really, we are trying to make a cool, fun, durable, good-for-you, good-for-the-planet eyewear that isn't corny or cheesy, but also something that isn't too "core" or cool.  

We don't want to be a sunglass company that just posts sunglasses on social media for you to purchase.
